In 2023, I was laid off from a SaaS sales leadership role. 15+ years in, SDR to VP, multiple President's Club wins, a company I grew toward a successful acquisition, and one of a handful selected to be there when PowerSchool rang the Nasdaq bell. Yet when it came time to run a job search, I still had no idea how to sell myself.

I hadn't updated my resume in years. Where do I begin? Which stories should I tell? How do I sell myself in an interview?

I'd spent my whole career selling a product. I'd never had to sell myself cold. Most of my roles found me.

I tried to run the search alone. It didn't work. So I hired a coach, rebuilt my story and my strategy, and landed a role negotiating $75K above the posted salary. That's what led me to become a career coach.
