Coaching = job offers

READ TIME: 4 MINUTES

Allie couldn't get past a recruiter screen. She didn't know how to tell her story, and no one had ever taught her.

After we worked together, she reached final rounds in 4 separate interview processes.

That's what coaching produces.

Last month I wrote about what a career coach actually is. Today I'm showing you how it lands your next role.

What clients say after working together

Allie came to me as a high-performing IC and manager with a strong track record. Here's what changed:

"The experience made me a much stronger communicator overall. I see it showing up every day as I lead my new team, build relationships with peers and senior leadership, and speak more confidently in meetings. I now have a level of confidence communicating with senior leaders that I didn't have before." — Allie, Sales Manager

Josh found me on LinkedIn while stuck in an Enterprise AE search, getting nowhere with interviews.

"Within weeks, I had 5+ recruiters reaching out with opportunities. Her process is excellent, and her career path from SDR → AE → Sales Leadership gives her a rare ability to understand both the candidate's and hiring manager's perspectives." — Josh, Enterprise AE

Steve landed a $250K OTE role. Here's what he sent me after his interview:

"It could not have gone any better. He told me he was blown away by the interview. He wants to expedite my next two interviews and could see me starting within a week. I really think all the work we did together helped out a lot." — Steve, AE

And then there's Brian.

Brian navigated a layoff, one of the hardest things a sales professional can face. I wrote his full story two weeks ago. Read it here →link

The short version: he landed a role a step above where he was before his layoff. It took 2.5 months working with me, after he spent 5 months searching on his own.

The cost of not coaching

Remember Brian? Those 5 months he spent searching alone cost him $54,000 in forgone earnings. He landed at a $130K base 2.5 months into our work together.

Clarity to Close™ is under $4,000.

Most people think about the cost of coaching. Few think about the cost of not coaching.

What does working with a career coach actually look like?

In the early weeks ofClarity to Close™, we meet weekly or biweekly for one-hour sessions. I'm teaching content, we're defining your Ideal Job Opportunity™, unpacking your background to build your story, and customizing everything to your situation.

The core framework covers your Ideal Job Opportunity™ rubric, a job search CRM, a full resume and LinkedIn rewrite, the job search strategy to land interviews, and an interview workbook. Every resource lives in a coaching workbook you keep.

Toward the end of the engagement, sessions shift to interview presentation rounds and offer negotiation. Between sessions, I'm available by text, quick call, or email. I may send a Loom with specific feedback.

You walk away with the framework to run not just this search, but every one after it.

When is the right time to start?

Two moments: right before you kick off a search, or after you've been running it solo and the offer hasn't come.

The earlier, the better. But it's never too late to course-correct.

How long does it take?

Clarity to Close™ is 8 sessions. Most clients land an offer within 2–4 months. My fastest clients have landed in 3 weeks. A few have needed an extra session or two. The timeline depends on the market, your target role, how quickly you implement feedback, and how much work you put in between sessions.

What results can you expect?

I can't guarantee job placement. No ethical coach can.

What I can tell you is this: every client who has completed the fullClarity to Close™ program has landed an offer.

The market picks up in September, and I expect a 1-2 week waitlist by then. Right now I have 1 spot open to start immediately.

Josh put it better than I could:

"Career coaching is worth the investment. But even if you're not sure, take the free 30-minute meeting. Don't assume. A conversation about something as important as your career is always worthwhile, especially when it's free.

Amanda is transparent. It's like software sales — if there's not a fit, there's not a fit, and she'll tell you that honestly. She's not pushy. She'll just say, here's where I think I can add value, but it's your choice. You stay in the driver's seat. At least you walk away with the data to make the most reliable decision." — Josh, Enterprise AE
